Here at Bristow Autos, we like to be forward-thinking when it comes to the advancement of the vehicle repair industry and to keep up to date with the new vehicles being introduced to the market.  We believe the future will most definitely involve Electric Vehicles.

We are therefore pleased to announce that, in conjunction with Milton Keynes Council and the Electric Vehicle Experience Centre, we have invested in 2 new Electric Charge Points.  We are the first and largest independent garage in and around Milton Keynes that not only specialise in all makes and models of vehicles but can now offer that quality service to include electric and hybrid vehicles.

The charge points are for both customer and staff use and were installed with help from  Milton Keynes Promise.  The MK Promise is funded by Go Ultra Low, who are a joint campaign with the Office for Low Emission Vehicles.  The Promise is a pledge from the Council that they will install a free charge point at workplaces.  This not only allows businesses to reduce their carbon footprint, but also allows staff members to go green especially if they do not have facilities at home to charge vehicles.  They also offer smaller grants to enable businesses to purchase electric vehicles, such as £4500 off the on the road price of a fully electric vehicle or £2500 off for a plug-in hybrid.

Milton Keynes was funded a large sum of money by Go Ultra Low and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles to help with these promises.  The Electric Vehicle Experience Centre located in centre:mk, opened as a brand neutral car showroom to increase the awareness  of Ultra Low Emission Vehicles, offer advice and experience drives with multiple manufacturers.

We are bringing this experience to our premises on Clarke Road for 2 Open Day/Evening events and would love to offer an invitation to all of our loyal customers.  These events will be hosted by the Electric Vehicle Gurus from the Experience Centre who will be on hand to answer any questions and offer test drives in the Electric Vehicles that will be on show.  Refreshments will be available during the events.

Dates for your diary are –
